PROGRAM NOTE
CUTTER is a raw portrayal of an adolescent girl who, while watching The Never-Ending Story and listening to Metallica’s “One,” secretly self-injures. It was composed for Megan Schubert in 2007, and revised in 2011 for the 2012 Avant New Media Festival. -JOJ
